The Adobe Flash CS3 short course provides novice Adobe Flash CS3 users with the hands-on instruction that will help them become competent with creating and publishing Flash documents to the web. You do not need to have prior experience with Flash or Flash CS3 to attend this course.
By the end of the course participants should be able to use what they have learned to build rich user experiences such as user interfaces (UI's), navigation systems and complete websites that include images, text, animations, sound and video.
The course is designed to teach a wide spectrum of professionals how to design and deliver cross-platform, low-bandwidth animations, presentations, and Web applications using Adobe Flash CS3. It is a task-based course, with students learning by doing. Along with covering the basics of Adobe Flash CS3, the course focuses on best practices and design, stressing the importance of usability, optimisation and performance.

Learning Outcomes
This training course is designed to teach web developers how to create animations, presentations and basic applications using Adobe Flash CS3. The trainer conducting this courses is Keith Bowley. (Adobe - Certified Flash Designer)
Keith has been working in the Printing and Graphic Arts industry for over 30 years and has been training industry people in the use of Adobe Flash for over 10 years. Keith is a qualified instructor with Adobe and a qualified trainer under the Aust National Training System. Keith’s knowledge and skills are not just limited to the Flash application, but also conducts training on other applications - Adobe Fireworks, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Indesign.

Training Method
Prepress Skills Centre is a specialist training centre (since 1995) with many years experience in providing specialist training to both the print and web publishing industries.
Our computer labs are very spacious and utilise ergonomically designed computer benches and chairs. Training techniques used at the training centre include the use of a computer projection screen for clear vision of demonstrations.
During the course participants will develop the skills required to complete structured exercises and workplace related projects. All techniques and skills will be demonstrated and each participant will be provided with feedback on their progress and personal attention when required.
Prepress Skills Centre is a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) for the delivery of training, assessment of skills and issuance of certification. Participants wishing to have their skills assessed and receive certification can apply to undertake a skills assessment through Prepress Skills Centre
Prerequisites
To undertake this course participants require basic computer skills (Macintosh or PC) with the ability to manage files and folders. Prior Adobe Flash CS3 experience is not a prerequisite.
